Govindraj on a Hot Streak, IBL-A Player of the Week Monday, May 18th , 2150 Ananthakrishanan Govindraj is respected by most Brisbane Bolides fans for his no-frills style of play. The 23-year-old shortstop went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Intercontinental Baseball League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .464 average (13-for-28) with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this year, Govindraj has hit .224 with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
