Big Bat Pays Off, Yamaguchi Player of the Week Monday, June 1st , 2150 Shunji Yamaguchi went on a hitting rampage last week against Americas Baseball League pitchers and collected the Player of the Week Award. The Goiania left fielder connected for 11 hits in 26 at-bats and 3 home runs. For the week he hit .423 with 15 RBIs and scored 3 runs.
