ABL-A Star of the Week Announced Monday, July 20th , 2150 The Americas Baseball League made it official today: Sami Malik is the Player of the Week. He really sparkled on the diamond this week with a .600 average to take home the trophy. The Naperville second baseman went 6-for-10, drove in 4 runs, scored 4 times and hit 3 home runs. Looking at his present stats, Malik has compiled a .239 batting average in 90 games with a .290 on-base percentage, while hitting 8 home runs and driving in 33 runs. |
