ABL-A Announces Player of the Week Monday, August 10th , 2150 A hot-hitting week got Kolenka Galitsky the Americas Baseball League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Traverse City center fielder slammed them for a .500 average, 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs. In the postgame press conference, Galitsky shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." So far this year, Galitsky has 7 home runs and a .267 batting average. |
