Stars Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 12th , 2150 It's back to the drawing board for the Long Beach Stars. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Long Beach last appeared in the postseason in 2141. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 26 times in their 51-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Stars have missed the playoffs 7 times. Long Beach last won the A World Series in 2140. |
