Lille Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, August 14th , 2150 After a tough year, the Lille Fleur-de-Lis have been the butt of jokes around many water coolers in the Lille area. There will be some new fodder for jaded fans to discuss now -- the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Lille last appeared in the postseason in 2144. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Fleur-de-Lis have made the playoffs 2 times. Lille has won the A World Series 2 times in their history. |
