Montoya Tosses Shutout Against Stone Faces Thursday, August 20th , 2150 Juan Montoya really had his stuff working at Estadio Santo Domingo. The Naperville Pubcrawlers hurler mystified the San Pedro Stone Faces, shutting them out, 5-0. Montoya allowed a total of 1 hit in the ballgame and struck out 10. "The shutout is nice, but I'm just happy we won," Montoya said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose." So far this year, Montoya has compiled a 11-4 record with a 2.50 ERA. |
