Grafia Shuts Out Ponce Friday, May 9th , 2149 It was not a good day at the plate for the Ponce Coqui. They came up empty when it mattered against Goiania Toucans right-hander Jilenko Grafia, who scattered 6 hits across 9 innings and held the Coqui scoreless. "We had 6 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Ponce manager said later. Grafia chalked up 10 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 13-0 Toucans win. On the year, Grafia has compiled a 3-2 mark with a 3.42 ERA. |
