After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club. "I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Wood said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today." Looking at his season stats, Wood has won 6 and lost 1, collecting 67 strikeouts and 11 walks in 66.2 innings with a 1.35 ERA. |
