Padilla Brings Home ABL-A Batter of Month Honor Thursday, July 1st , 2151 When Roberto Padilla stepped up to the plate in June he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Americas Baseball League Batter of the Month award. The young Cienfuegos right fielder posted a .295 batting average with 6 home runs, 18 RBIs and scored 11 runs. Padilla also worked pitchers for 25 walks to post a .447 on-base percentage. To date this year, Padilla is batting .245 with 11 home runs. |
