Sugano Garners IBL-A Batter of the Month Award Thursday, July 1st , 2151 At only 21 years of age, Yuki Sugano could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Thebes Threshers, as June was one to remember for the second baseman and he has captured the Intercontinental Baseball League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .337 with 8 home runs, 14 RBIs and 20 runs scored. In 77 games this season, Sugano has compiled a .233 batting average with 70 hits and 11 home runs. He has also scored 34 times and knocked in 29 runs. |
