ABL-A Star of the Week Announced Monday, September 4th , 2147 António Arteaga of the Cienfuegos Elefantes put the wraps on a fantastic week of play by being named the Americas Baseball League Player of the Week. The hot-hitting left fielder was a bonafide batting machine as he racked up 14 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs, .583 BA, 13 RBIs, 15 runs, 4 walks and a .643 OBP. To date, Arteaga has collected 134 hits for a .302 average. He has posted 20 home runs, scored 85 runs and driven in 94 runs. |
