Suwon Center Fielder Nets IBL-A Award Monday, September 4th , 2147 The Suwon Monks received word today that center fielder Gernot Grün was selected Intercontinental Baseball League Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Grün took full advantage of all 18 plate appearances last week as he hit .647 with 11 hits, 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Looking at his season stats, Grün has compiled a .318 batting average and a .386 on-base percentage, while hitting 3 home runs and driving in 31 runs. |
