Recife's Wang Gets ABL-R Player of the Week Monday, May 25th , 2150 Recife Jaguars second baseman Shing Wang had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Americas Baseball League named him Player of the Week. Wang banged out 13 hits in 23 at-bats on the way to a .565 batting average. He also racked up 4 home runs, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored. At present, Wang is batting .288 with 47 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 8 runs and scored 22 times. |
