Year Ends for Dale Francis in Eugene Friday, July 15th, 2112 Doctors in Eugene said Dale Francis might not play anymore this year. The Emeralds starting pitcher suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament during a game against the Huntsville Phantoms and will be out for at least 13 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. Francis has posted a 5-8 record for the year with a 3.85 ERA. Teams are hitting .246 against him and he has rung up 112 strikeouts in 128.2 innings. |
