Yaag Socks It to Foxes, Cracks 5 Hits Sunday, June 7th , 2150 A big day at bat for Vaughan Yaag of the Kumamoto Shogun still ended with a loss. The Kumamoto center fielder did all he could do, going 5-for-7, but it was not enough to overcome the Bonn Foxes. They triumphed over Kumamoto, 8-6, at Merlions Ballpark. Vaughan Yaag flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, struck out in the 10th, singled in the 12th and hit an RBI single in the 14th. A look at his season totals shows Yaag with 3 home runs, .257 BA, .322 OBP, 11 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
