ABL-R Star of the Week Chosen Monday, June 22nd , 2150 Dave Offredi swung a blistering bat last week for Zapopan, rapping out 10 hits in 21 at-bats against Aztecs opponents to propel himself to the Americas Baseball League Player of the Week Award. Whenever the center fielder hit the ball, he hit it with authority. The 20-year-old racked up a .476 batting average with 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. In 69 games this season, Offredi has compiled a .226 batting average with 51 hits and 8 home runs. He has also scored 25 times and knocked in 18 runs. |
