20 Games in a Row for Lambert Sunday, July 8th , 2136 With 1 hit at Foxes Stadium today, Mark Lambert added another game to his hitting streak -- the Bonn shortstop has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Foxes today, as they fell, 5-1, to the Kisumu Cheetahs. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Kisumu manager said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Mark Lambert flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and singled in the 8th. Thus far this year Lambert has hit .364 with 3 home runs and 36 RBIs. |
