Kumamoto Left Fielder Nets IBL-R Award Monday, August 3rd , 2150 It was an exceptional week for Elliot Sankey of the Kumamoto Shogun. First he beat the devil out of the ball, hitting .562 and as you would expect, he was voted the Player of the Week in the Intercontinental Baseball League. Last week Sankey went 9-for-16, notched 1 home run and 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. All in all, a very good week for him. For the year, Sankey is batting .225 with 9 home runs, 33 RBIs and 27 runs scored. |
