Campinas Toucans Clinch First in Americas Baseball League Latin American Division
Saturday, September 5th , 2144
Grown men turned into little boys in the Campinas Toucans clubhouse, as the realization set in: the club had clinched the Americas Baseball League Latin American Division.
"We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said the club's manager. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season."
The club has a 89-41 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 2nd R World Series championship. Starting Pitcher Dylan Wilshaw said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 4th division title, but added that "we won't be happy until we're lifting that trophy."
