WBA-R News Flash: Playoffs begin Monday, September 7th , 2144 What months ago was a dream is now reality. The trade deadline has passed, along with all the GMs' wheeling and dealing. Contract negotiations are on hold. Front office work is all put on the back burner. Now it's time for each club, player, coach and manager to put their imprint on WBA Rookie League history. Nobody will remember the free agent who got away. No one will care about the trade that fell through. People will remember just one thing about the playoffs -- the team that wins the R World Series crown. The Divisional Series starts today with these matchups: Oakland Stars vs Campinas Toucans, Recife Jaguars vs South Bend Leprechauns, Ulsan Monks vs Naples Naturals and Nice Fleur-de-Lis vs Perth Perseids. |
