Fakih Beguiles Plano Sunday, August 7th , 2146 Ridwan Fakih was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Plano Rancheros on 5 hits. "He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Plano manager after the 3-0 loss to the Recife Jaguars. Fakih finished with 8 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, Recife manager said Fakih "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off." In 17 starts this season Fakih has notched a 6-3 record and a 2.95 ERA. |
