Spalding Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, May 12th, 2131 Dwayne Spalding did more than his part as the La Romana Toros topped the Caguas Coqui today at Estadio Michelli. The Toros second baseman pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 8-7 thumping of the Coqui. Dwayne Spalding hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, walked in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, flied out in the 10th, doubled in the 13th, singled in the 15th and walked in the 16th. Spalding is hitting .286 so far this season with 15 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has 36 hits including no home runs, 9 walks and .336 OBP. |
