Antolin 5-for-6 for Guelph Tuesday, May 9th, 2119 5 times is the charm -- at least for Celso Antolin. The Guelph Royals center fielder tore up the Zapopan Aztecs to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Aztecs Ballpark today. The offensive onslaught from Antolin powered the Royals to a 13-3 win. "Antolin was a tough out today," Zapopan manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Celso Antolin singled in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. This season Antolin is batting .275 with 28 RBIs, 28 runs scored and 2 home runs. |
