Eugene Blanked by Ramírez Thursday, June 4th, 2111 Zapopan Aztecs fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Ronaldo Ramírez blanked the Eugene Emeralds, 3-0 at Eugene Ballpark today. Ramírez stopped them on 2 hits while walking 3 and striking out 9. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Aztecs skipper said. "He was on top of his game in this one." Thus far this season, Ramírez has tossed 70.2 innings in 11 starts, fanned 56 batters, walked 22 and put up a 3.95 ERA with 4 wins and 4 losses. |
