Peregrine Blank Foxes, Hauli Wins Sunday, June 8th , 2149 The Bonn Foxes were almost helpless in their 5-0 loss to the Sargodha Peregrine and hurler Osano Hauli. Hauli kept the Foxes confused all game, spinning a 3-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Hauli," Bonn manager said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 27-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 14 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Hauli said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." This year, Hauli has no relief appearances with no saves, 11-0 season record and a 0.52 ERA. He has hurled 103 innings, given up 57 hits, struck out 93 and walked 8. Opposing clubs have batted .161 against the Sargodha reliever. |
