Jaguars Not Competitive in 8-0 Loss to Plano Wednesday, June 30th , 2151 Felipe Fernández was dynamite at Express Park, blowing away the Recife Jaguars in a shutout victory. The Plano Rancheros starter had everything working as he held the Jaguars to 1 hit in the 8-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Recife skipper . "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Fernández finished the game with 9 strikeouts and 2 walks. For the year, Fernández has hit .227 with 10 home runs, 39 RBIs and scored 46 runs. |
