Kubicek Wins ABL-R's Best Bat Trophy Thursday, July 1st , 2151 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 24 Mrej Kubicek has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Zapopan Aztecs star can enjoy the numbers he put up in June, which have garnered him the nod as the Americas Baseball League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .347 average with 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This season, Kubicek is hitting at a .349 pace with 18 home runs, 73 RBIs and has scored 68 times. |
