Halim Collects ABL-R Pitching Award Thursday, July 1st , 2151 Over the past month Nasim Halim has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Americas Baseball League. He proved all that and now he's been named June's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the La Romana Toros posted 4-0 mark and a 0.00 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 36 innings, permitted 22 hits and fanned 33 batters. In 15 starts this year, Halim has fashioned a 6-2 record and a 2.15 ERA. |
