5-Hit Barrage by Kim Saturday, July 3rd , 2151 Eun-bum Kim was the King of Swing at Eugene Ballpark in the 22-0 Mackinac Trappers win over the South Bend Leprechauns. The Mackinac right fielder stepped into the batter's box 7 times against South Bend and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-7 isn't bad for your batting average either." Eun-bum Kim hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Kim is hitting .323 this season with 17 home runs, 55 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has 100 hits in 310 at-bats. |
