Zapopan's Llamas Snaps Up July Batting Award Sunday, August 1st , 2151 Dakila Llamas is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Zapopan second baseman joined that select company when the Americas Baseball League announced the results of July's voting. Llamas totaled 32 hits, 23 walks, 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and 18 runs scored last month to put together a .364 batting average and .513 on-base percentage. At present, Llamas is batting .332 and has collected 17 home runs, 75 RBIs, .456 OBP and scored 77 runs. |
