Cobras Deal Fflunker to Monarchs for Ho-Dac Monday, December 17th, 2114 It came down to the last hour of a self-imposed trade deadline, but the Mumbai Cobras and London Monarchs finally came to an agreement on a trade that had been rumored for weeks. The trade sends Mumbai's 30-year-old LHP Tony Gutiérrez, 23-year-old CF Isko Fflunker and $10,000,000 in cash to London in a swap for 21-year-old minor league 3B Rhys Archer, 19-year-old minor league 1B Gerardo Talenti, 19-year-old minor league SS Gauradas Chhavvi, 20-year-old minor league RF Jean Picot and 31-year-old 3B Thai Ho-Dac. Both GMs seemed relieved that the deal had been completed with one stating, "We had to set a deadline to get it done." The players are expected to report to their new teams by tomorrow. Lifetime Fflunker is batting .227 with 67 doubles, 11 triples, 44 home runs and 153 RBIs in 307 games. Ho-Dac has 775 career hits with a .258 batting average and 105 home runs. |
