Riemer van der Laan is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Black Forest Foxes at The Den. The monster effort from the 23-year-old second baseman helped the Nairobi Black Rhinos get the win, 15-11. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Foxes manager DP Woodford. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Riemer van der Laan doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
