Brooks, Rio de Janeiro Sign 1-Year Pact Friday, May 17th , 2148 Rio de Janeiro fans celebrated as word of a signing became reality. Leo Brooks won't be pulling up stakes anytime soon, as he has signed a 1-year extension at a pay rate of $1,500,000 per annum. Since he is widely seen as an integral part of the club, Rio de Janeiro officials had to keep Brooks from jumping ship. Thus far this year, Brooks is hitting .363 with 11 home runs, 32 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
