Durrani Hitless, Streak Ends at 25
Thursday, May 30th , 2148
The 25-game hitting streak of Black Forest Foxes left fielder Abdul Salam Durrani came to an end at The Den. The Daegu Monks held him hitless in 4 at-bats and also sent the Foxes down to defeat, 13-2.

Later, Durrani acknowledged to BNN reporters that the hit streak meant something to him.

"It was special," he said, "but I think other people make a bigger deal out of it than I do, or the players do. It was what we're all supposed to do; go out and hit the ball and try to score runs. It was a cool deal, but it's over now. Let's try to start a new one."

For the season, Durrani has produced 70 hits in 184 at-bats for a .380 average with 15 home runs and gotten on base at a .461 clip.
