May's #1 Batter Announced Saturday, June 1st , 2148 Leo Brooks made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Americas Baseball League this past month. The Rio de Janeiro Jaguars first baseman shined through the month of May and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 25-year-old hit .419 with 10 home runs, 31 RBIs and 25 runs scored. Brooks is batting .386 this season in 49 games with 17 home runs, 51 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has 76 hits in 197 at-bats. |
