ABL Selects Segura May's Best Pitcher Saturday, June 1st , 2148 The Americas Baseball League scribes have selected May's Pitcher of the Month and have awarded the honor to Mariano Segura of Sao Paulo. He was outstanding on the hill last month and has the numbers to prove it -- a 5-0 record. The Toucans star performer made 6 starts with a 2.58 ERA and surrendered 21 hits in 38.1 innings. He struck out 25 and walked 26. This year, Segura has gone 7-2 with an ERA of 2.71 and has 39 strikeouts in 66.1 innings. |
