Kim: Big Hit in the Intercontinental Baseball League Monday, June 10th , 2148 25-year-old Dong-moon Kim sent shock waves through World Baseball Association last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Intercontinental Baseball League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Kim made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .500 average, 14 hits in 28 at-bats, 1 home run and 7 runs batted in. Where the Oslo Voyageurs second baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Kim certainly made his mark last week. Thus far this season, Kim is hitting .298 with 2 home runs, 19 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has 51 hits in 171 at-bats and has played in 49 games. |
