Díaz Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Tuesday, July 23rd , 2148 Carlos Díaz's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Chicago. The 31-year-old right fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 2-for-4 performance against the Los Angeles Stars. The Beefs won the game, 4-3. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Carlos Díaz grounded out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 9th. Díaz is currently hitting at a .327 pace with 13 home runs and 71 RBIs. |
