Stars Chill Díaz Hot Streak Thursday, July 25th , 2148 Carlos Díaz's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 21 games, as the Chicago Beefs dropped their contest with the Los Angeles Stars, 4-1, at Beefs Stadium. Díaz failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-2. After the game Díaz spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. This season, Díaz is swinging the bat at a .325 rate with 110 hits in 338 at-bats. To date he has hit 13 home runs, scored 64 runs and driven in 71. |
