Brooks Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, August 17th , 2150 The Rio de Janeiro Jaguars received word today that first baseman Leo Brooks was selected Americas Baseball League Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Brooks took full advantage of all 27 plate appearances last week as he hit .500 with 11 hits, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
