Beefs-Black Rhinos Deal: Baker for Park Friday, April 4th , 2149 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Beefs announced today the acquisition of 29-year old minor league CF Ryan Park from the Nairobi Black Rhinos in exchange for 24-year old minor league RF Rickey Baker, a 2nd round draft pick, and a 5th round draft pick. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Beefs, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Lifetime in 716 games Park is batting .274 with 26 home runs and 241 RBIs. |
