WBA News: Spring Training Begins Friday, March 1st , 2148 Spring training is here at last. The long offseason has come and gone and the Boys of Baseball are back again. There is a sense of excitement all around. We'll soon hear the crack of the bat and the slap of leather. World Baseball Association training camps will be filled with frenetic fans following their favorite teams. The diamonds will be populated by maybes, wannabes, projects, journeymen, backups, regulars, phenoms, and the sacred stars. They will be conditioned, reconditioned, repaired, retired, promoted, and demoted. All these elements will come together to forge each team's regular-season squad and to take it to greater heights than ever before. Hope springs eternal at spring training camps. |
