Chicago Ace Takes Pitcher of the Year Award Thursday, November 19th , 2150 Alois Camber walked away with the top pitching honors in the Americas Baseball League this year. The Chicago Beefs starter was named the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2150 earlier today.
This outstanding 31-year-old hurler fashioned a fine 15-9 won-lost record in 36 starts. He threw 248 innings, giving up 194 hits and 101 walks and holding opponents to a .217 average. Camber struck out 90 and posted a 2.94 ERA.
