Thursday, November 19th , 2150
In the twilight of his career, Kasim bin Kadar has no intention of going anywhere anytime soon. The 37-year-old Monks starter hoisted up the Intercontinental Baseball League Pitcher of the Year Award earlier today, silencing critics who thought it was time for the "old man" to retire.

bin Kadar crafted an ERA of 3.04 as he won 15 games, dropped 4, fanned 98 and gave up 44 walks in 216.1 innings of work.

He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 20. Yoshifusa Hasegawa of the Oslo Voyageurs finished second in voting with 9 first place votes, while Carlos Rúbio of the Oslo Voyageurs finished third.
