Pacio, Nakada Swap Teams Sunday, November 3rd , 2148 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Beefs announced today the acquisition of 26-year old CF Tokimasa Nakada and 32-year old minor league RHP Wei-fang Cheng from the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars in exchange for 19-year old minor league C Guy Pacio. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Beefs, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." In his 345-game career Nakada is hitting .279 with 311 hits, 67 doubles, 2 triples and 18 home runs. He has scored 126 runs and driven in 115. |
