The El Paso Thunderbirds defeated the Havana Dolphins, 6-4, in Americas Baseball League action at Thunderdome. El Paso pitcher Jin-u Kim had a standout performance. Timothy Adamczak collected his 24th save. El Paso has now reeled off 11 straight wins.

Thao Trung had a big run-scoring triple for the Thunderbirds in the bottom of the fifth inning. With El Paso leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Tony Gutiérrez, who led the ABL in ERA with 2.51 in 2145, and swatted a triple to right. It was his 8th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Thunderbirds ahead, 2-0.

"Everything seems to be clicking right now for us, top to bottom," said El Paso manager AP MP.
