Beefs Earn 4-2 Win Against Aztecs

The Chicago Beefs used a stellar performance from pitcher Shih-k'ai Tseng to throttle the Mexico City offense en route to an extra-inning, 4-2 win at Ballpark of Mexico City. Chicago, at 32-21, is 2 games up in the Americas Baseball League North American Division.
Odílio Pilar, who is tied for 9th in the ABL in bases on balls with 38, had a direct impact on the outcome. Pilar contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the tenth inning to put Chicago up, 3-2.
"Shih-k'ai kind of went out and dug down and got some outs when he needed to," said Chicago manager Mikes L. Son.
