Big Day for Kermani in 11-7 Blue Gills Win
Rana Kermani added some punch to the Detroit offense, helping them outmuscle the El Paso Thunderbirds, 11-7. In the game, Kermani, who is tied for 7th in the ABL in hits with 63, was 3-5 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 7 runs. The Blue Gills saw their record improve to 18-35.

The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth. That's when Kermani hit a bases-clearing triple off Dae-il Kim. It propelled the Blue Gills into the lead, 8-5.

Blue Gills manager Billy 1189 wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
