When the games really matter, the El Paso Thunderbirds put on their best show, beating the Mexico City Aztecs by a final score of 6-5. Lu-po-teh Guao belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. El Paso now leads Mexico City 3-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

El Paso used the timely hitting of Geunhye Pang to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Thunderbirds on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Pang.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Mexico City in Mexico City.
