Andersen Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, June 13th , 2150 Erik Andersen was at the head of a Tokyo Fitzies hit parade at Gitche Gumee Stadium. The 26-year-old went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, but it was the Paris Fleur-de-Lis that marched off with the 11-6 win. "We didn't have it today," griped Fitzies skipper Pedro Cerrano following the game. "Erik did fine, but as a team, we didn't do it with the bats and we didn't do it pitching." Andersen did more than fine, dominating the Fleur-de-Lis at the plate during his record-making 5-for-5 performance. "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging first baseman told reporters. "When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats." Erik Andersen singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
